This automated process ensures that all the files in iManage Work can be indexed and are therefore discoverable. For Data Subject Access Requests, GDPR stipulates that firms must be able to locate all content containing sensitive personal information related to an individual. The only way to ensure that all content can be located is for it to be indexed.

To further assist our clients with meeting their GDPR obligations, we are currently developing a suite of tools to secure and encrypt content stored in iManage (and potentially other repositories) so that sensitive personal information can be discovered and either redacted or extracted as required.
