HONG KONG (PRWEB) APRIL 12, 2016
Clutch Group, a leading legal, risk, and compliance analytics and managed services firm, is sponsoring the InnoXcell Annual Symposium (IAS 2016), one of the world’s largest and most comprehensive legal and regulatory compliance conferences. The event will be held at the Conrad Hong Kong from April 13th-14th.
Aman Chee, Senior Director at Clutch, will be leading a panel session on Employee Misconduct Investigation in the post-lunch session along the Pro-active Track of the symposium. Mr. Chee will be joined by Conor Crowley, eDiscovery Counsel APAC, UBS AG and Cindy Hong, Partner (Shanghai), K&L Gates.
The panel will cover best practices in scoping client-focused investigations and demonstrate how technology-assisted review and predictive analytics can save money and time for companies as they investigate and address employee misconduct.
Mr. Chee possesses 20 years of experience in financial crime investigation, including fraud, corruption, money-laundering and credit card counterfeiting, and has assisted in related court prosecutions. He spent 14 years with the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) of Hong Kong, an organization dedicated to fighting corruption through investigation, prevention, and education. He later became the Head of Anti-Fraud and Forensics of a global bank responsible for strategic development of its anti-fraud program and governance. He currently heads up Clutch Group’s Hong Kong office with the mandate to lead the organization’s expansion strategy in the APAC region.
“I’m delighted to be leading this panel of distinguished speakers in a wide-ranging conversation on the subject of Employee Misconduct Investigation.” said Aman Chee, Sr. Director, Clutch Group. “In the current regulatory climate, conduct and cultural change continue to be substantive issues, and it’s essential for companies to explore ways in which to streamline their investigative processes into the actions and communications of employees. At Clutch, we have assisted many of the world’s largest financial institutions with complicated investigations, both regulator-mandated as well as internal, pertaining to the misconduct of employees and technology-assisted review has formed a key part of our strategy.”
“I’m very pleased that Clutch is sponsoring IAS 2016 because, as we all know, organizations in Hong Kong, Singapore, and China are exposed to similar forms of legal and compliance risk as our clients in the U.S., Europe and India.” said James Doolan, Head of Consulting, Clutch Group. “We’re thrilled to be able to have the chance for a meaningful exchange with executives here. We aim to build on the work we have already done in this region, and to identify more ways in which we can tailor strategies that have been successfully deployed elsewhere to align with the challenges here.”
