Data Migration

We meet with the relevant parties and stakeholders to assist with defining the scope and project timeline. Our team provides a detailed migration plan with input from the client and addresses all potential concerns related to communication protocol, user accounts, database accessibility, as well as active v inactive matters as it relates to priority databases.

We firmly believe the most successful migrations include a proof of concept with test data to validate the workflow and end-product. We have successfully completed migrations without a proof of concept; however, this is a key step in our process. We also use this stage to implement user access testing to our environment as well as undertake any necessary custom development.

Encrypted deliveries to Morae data centers via physical media or SFTP transfers. Our team also has experience using secure connections to copy data directly from third party data centers.

To ensure migrations are executed per specification, Morae has developed a multi-step Quality Assurance process. We assess whether all key database components and work-product have been accurately captured and record the results of our analysis. This process allows us to create an Audit Tracker suitable for signoff by executive stakeholders or external parties when necessary.

Client and counsel begin work in the new database, while Morae continues to provide our premier support as needed.
